Our Therapy Services in Gilbert AZ

Our marriage or couple's counseling sessions are designed to help couples improve their communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen their relationship. Relational Life Therapy (RLT) is the main modality we use for couples therapy. Again, this can be done at our Gilbert office or at the comfort of your own home through video conference.

We offer Individual sessions for various issues including depression, anxiety, faith transition, parenting, relationship concerns, and bereavement. Counseling is offered in a nonjudgmental space and with cultural humility. Your healing is an honor to be apart of. This counseling and psychotherapy can take place in our Gilbert office or conveniently online without you having to leave home.

Going through a faith transition or crisis can be one of the most difficult and lonely experiences. We have the resources, cultural competence and expertise to help individuals come to terms and grasp their new realities. We have experience in trauma-informed practice to guide individuals who may be suffering with religious trauma after high-demand religion.

We provide divorce counseling for individuals who are going through or post divorce. Divorce can take an emotional toll and it takes time to develop the regulation, consistency and patterns of a new life. Having a guide to walk you through this process is crucial.

Grief can be one of life’s most painful and overwhelming experiences. We provide compassionate support for individuals and families navigating loss, whether following the death of a loved one or during the difficult journey of anticipatory grief. Karen Tabloff, LCSW, brings more than 30 years of experience in end-of-life care, grief, and bereavement through her extensive work with hospice. She offers a safe, understanding space to process loss, find meaning, and begin moving forward while honoring the relationship and memories that remain.

Parenting Counseling

Parenting is hard! And in today's society with everyone living as their own separate island, we need all the help and support we can get. With five children of her own, Emily has spent over twenty years studying different parenting approaches and helping parents to better connect with each of their children according to each child's personality. Understanding oneself and healing personal trauma is an avenue Emily will navigate through as you join with her in finding the connection you desire with your own children.

Child and Teen Counseling

All of Family Matters' practitioners have a gift for connecting with children and teens. Today's teens have social and academic pressures that are very extreme. Anxiety, depression and ADHD are the more common issues that we encounter and have had success with lessening. Ask about our ADHD program.
